a

org.cups.cupsd.service

pacman -R manjaro-printer
 pacman -R foomatic-db foomatic-db-nonfree

Riavviare il servizio con

sudo systemctl start org.cup.cupsd

Why? Anyway - I'm not using Arch anymore (and therefore no systemd).
Do you want to maintain these two packages?

This one works flawless. I had just wrong lib32 packages installed! Anyway, sad to here we lost an active archlinux member.

Installare stampante di Brother MFC-5890CN in Ubuntu nuovo installer tools

giugno 3, 2014 3 commenti

Aggiornamento dicembre 2014

sudo ./linux-brprinter-installer-2.0.0-1

Ubuntu 12.04 e Brother MFC-5890CN new scanner driver

Versione a 64 Bit

Importante!

1) prima installare i pacchetti ia32-libs e/o lib32stdc++.

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

2) oppure al terminata l’installazione digitare

sudo apt-get install -f

wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/35253096/Brother/MFC-5890CN64.sh

Configurazione all in one in rete

Stampante :

Comunque è preferibile scegliere add printer e
– aggiungere stampante di rete
– eliminare la stampante USB
Quindi premere Print Test  Page.

nmap -sP 192.168.1.*

installare nmap al solito con

sudo apt-get install nmap

http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/instruction_scn1b.html#config2

Fax

service cups restart
